Job Summary
Collaborate with teammates to produce electrical insulating paper used in markets worldwide by operating production equipment, adjusting material flows, and ensuring high quality production outputs. Drive forklifts and operate other material handling equipment under training, while following safe work procedures and exemplifying the company's safety culture. Identify hazards and engage in continuous improvement to support a strong Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) environment. This role offers a transition opportunity for candidates with one to three years of manufacturing experience in private, public, government, or military environments to join a global organization with 93,000 employees across 70 countries.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
- One (1) year of manufacturing experience in a private, public, government or military environment
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status)
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Three (3) years of manufacturing experience in a private, public, government or military environment
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Package, MES knowledge
- Understanding of Lean Management Systems, and lean tools
