Job Summary
Lift, load, hang, and transfer parts and products while assembling materials, parts, and equipment on assembly lines or designated workstations to approved specifications. Operate machines to form, fabricate, paint, and assemble parts, ensuring all components match the bill of material and eliminating scrap using zero-defect methods. Inform supervisors of equipment defects and maintain a clean work area while following safety policies, housekeeping, and environmental regulations. Work 8-10 hours daily with physical stamina to stand and move repetitively, wearing required personal protective equipment. Entry-level candidates may pass in-house training; mechanical skills and attention to detail are advantageous.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to pass in-house training program (including safety & skills training and on-the-job training)
- Qualified applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States
- Ability to safely operate air and hand tools, wrenches, screwdrivers, ratchets, and screw guns
- Ability to safely operate machines and equipment
- Attention to detail and basic math/counting skills
- Ability to interpret and follow work instructions including all safety policies
- Ability to perform physical labor and repetitive movement and have good hand-eye coordination
- Physical stamina and strength required; transferring, loading, unloading, and lifting parts for long periods
- Ability to stand for long periods of time; 8-10 hours a day
- Ability to work flexible schedules including hours and days as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Mechanical/Machinery skills are a plus
- Entry level, previous manufacturing/machine operations experience is a plus
- Good verbal & written communication skills
- Ability to get along well, communicate timely and accurately with co-workers, supervisors and team leads
