Job Summary
Operate filling and packing machines, manage line set-up, and execute manual handling tasks to meet production targets while adhering to health, safety, and quality standards. Work alongside experienced personnel to grow leading brands in butters, spreads, and spray oils, maintaining accurate records and following standard operating procedures. Requires hands-on machinery experience, food safety knowledge, and ability to work in 12-hour rotating shifts across days and nights.
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on experience operating and setting up production machinery
- Experience in a food manufacturing or high-care environment
- Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards
- Ability to carry out regular checks and maintain accurate records
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Proactive and reliable work ethic
- Ability to carry out a variety of manual handling tasks
- Ability to perform machine operations
- Ability to understand yield and control
- Ability to perform line set up
- Ability to operate filling and packing machines
- Ability to use machinery and materials handling equipment
