Job Summary
Production Operator responsible for blending (premixing) batches, running extruders, filling products into shipping containers, sampling, 5S cleaning, measuring materials, preparing for packaging/shipment, and maintaining safety/LOTO procedures. Requires lifting up to 55 lbs, experience with or willingness to learn powder manufacturing equipment (extruders/grinders), forklift experience preferred, adherence to PPE requirements, ability to work in a fast-paced production environment, and flexibility to work overtime. Shift options include 2nd and 3rd with specified hours and a $1,000 sign-on bonus; starting pay $22.52/hr plus shift differentials.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 55 pounds on a consistent basis.
- Prior powder coating experience is preferred but will consider candidates with 3-5 years prior manufacturing or light industrial production experience.
- Tow motor/forklift experience preferred or ability to obtain a license.
- Ability to learn to operate large pieces of Powder manufacturing equipment (extruders and grinders).
- Ability to work independent without close supervision.
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to wear PPE (gloves, steel-toed boots, safety goggles, helmet, respirator).
- Ability to work any job and overtime as needed.
