Job Summary
Operate semi-automated pen needle and syringe assembly, poly-bagging, boxing, and packaging equipment while manually loading and packing syringes into final containers. Monitor product quality throughout the manufacturing process, assuring 100% acceptability according to written work instructions and inspection standards, and immediately stop the line to report any suspected quality problems. Preserve component integrity by keeping different part numbers and lots completely segregated with proper identification through receiving tickets. Complete daily production reports to record output, hours worked, and scrap, while ensuring training is current and documented before beginning work orders. Follow all safety, cleaning, and clean room gowning policies, assist with material handling and palletizing, and adhere to attendance and punctuality requirements. Work 40 hours weekly with overtime opportunities as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate, GED, or previous experience
- Ability to be trained
- Ability to do simple math
- Ability to read English sufficiently to follow written work instructions
- Positive team player
- Motivated to produce quality products within production timelines
- Independently mobile
- Ability to interact with a computer
- Ability to communicate with peers and co-workers
- Ability to stand 8-10 hours a day
- Ability to lift, bend, twist and use arms, hands and legs to lift and stack various boxes and containers ranging from 1-35 lbs
