Job Summary
Production Operator – Paint Processor is responsible for safely producing paint batches according to specifications, performing dispersion, thindown, quality evaluation, and batch adjustments, recording batch data and maintaining documentation, and ensuring product quality. The role requires operating mixing equipment, adding raw materials and colorants in precise quantities, performing QC testing, interfacing with SAP for batch tickets, and collaborating in a team environment on a 1st shift (5 AM–3:30 PM) with overtime during peak season. Starting pay is $24/hour. Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs, stand long periods, and complete safety training. On-site positions at East Point, GA and Pittsburgh, PA.
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of previous experience in a manufacturing environment
- Basic computer skills (including SAP)
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and record progress
- Ability to differentiate shades/colors
- Ability to perform product changeovers and troubleshooting
- Strong teamwork and ownership
- Must complete required safety training
- Physical ability to climb ladders and stairs
- Stand for extended periods; move around production equipment
- Frequent bending, reaching, lifting hoses, manipulating valves, etc.
- Lift 50 lbs. frequently and up to 80 lbs. occasionally
- Experience with forklifts and material handling equipment
- Ability to wear PPE (gloves, safety glasses, steel toe footwear)
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
