Job Summary
Operate processing equipment for raw material preparation, weighing, unloading, packing, and labeling while monitoring run rates and ensuring product specifications. Conduct initial testing and release of products, verify labeling compliance, and maintain housekeeping in the production area. Execute all tasks in strict adherence to H.B. Fuller quality standards, operating procedures, and EHS rules. Requires 12-hour nights on a 2-2-3 schedule with three years of industrial machine operation experience.
Required Qualifications
- Basic educational degree or High school diploma or general education diploma
- Knowledge of common software programs (MS office)
- Ability to read and understand work orders, production process, safety regulations and quality procedures and instructions
- Availability to work 12-hour shifts 2-2-3 schedule
- 3 years' experience in an industrial environment with machine operating skill set
- Able to be cross trained to operate all production process equipment
- Required to stand for long periods of time
- Walk and climb stairs
- Use hands to remove or lift boxes
- Stretch and reach with arms extended
- Stoop and bend
- Regularly lift up to 50 pounds and up to 100 pounds with assistance
Desired Qualifications
- Background in Plastics machine operation preferred
