Job Summary
Production Operator position focused on safety and manufacturing. Responsibilities include learning to read and understand simple blueprints and sketches, manufacturing parts to blueprints using Operator Inspection Instructions, inspecting parts with tools such as tape measure, caliper, micrometer and protractor, returning patterns and documentation to proper locations, stacking parts and maintaining a clean, safe work area, and operating various machines (stamping presses, milling, CNC, spot welders, turret machines, rivet machines) as instructed. The role also involves using software to enter time/payroll information, and adhering to safety policies and daily maintenance/safety checklists while contributing to process improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from high school or 18 years of age
- Pass math measurement/blueprint test with 85% or better
