Job Summary
Operate processing equipment by turning on support systems, loading materials like corrugate and bottles, and performing minor change-overs. Conduct visual inspections of boxes, graphics, closures, and coding while monitoring material flow and clearing jams. Execute preventative maintenance, clean machines between runs, and shut down equipment at shift end. Report quality issues, defects, or major problems to the Lead, QA Technician, or Manager. Maintain a clean work area, follow all work rules, and assist line mechanics or relieve other operators as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent work experience
- Must be 18 years or older
- Favorable background and drug test
- Able and willing to work a flexible full-time schedule that may include weekends and holidays
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to push or pull with a dolly or pallet jack up to 500 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Prior bottling / canning experience
