Production Operator

Production Operator at Momentive Technologies will participate in creating fused quartz products for the semiconductor, electronics, and aerospace sectors. The role involves loading and processing material, setting up and operating quartz fusion equipment, monitoring furnaces, collecting and recording production and quality data, maintaining inventory and calibration records, performing quality inspections, and adhering to SOPs, MPI, and safety policies. The position requires ability to operate manual handling equipment, lift up to 50 lbs, push/pull heavy loads, and work across multiple shifts in a 24/7 union shop environment. Candidates should be capable of using basic manufacturing software (e.g., SAP, Microsoft Office), be committed to safety, and contribute to problem-solving initiatives and 5S activities. Training will be provided on day shift with potential assignment to other shifts based on business needs, with the potential to obtain tow motor certification within 90 days. The role emphasizes accuracy in production and quality records, teamwork, and adherence to attendance and mutual respect policies.
