Job Summary
Operate machinery in the Aseptic department, maintaining documentation with high accuracy and quality while adhering to all safety guidelines and SQF practices. Monitor operations to detect defects or malfunctions, adjusting equipment within tolerances as needed. Load and secure stock material, perform minor electrical and mechanical repairs, and start or shut down equipment following SOPs. Make minor adjustments and notify supervisors for major service requirements. Maintain permanent records with neatness and accuracy, utilizing food security guidelines and hazard analysis protocols. Demonstrate problem-solving initiative and establish effective relationships with coworkers and supervisors. Cross-train to perform work in other display areas as assigned. Work extended hours including daily overtime and occasional weekends while standing and walking throughout the plant.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must have ability to understand oral and written instructions in English
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be willing to learn and have attention to detail
- Must work well in a team environment and have strong communication skills
- Must be able to physically perform the functions of climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions
- Must be able to work extended hours, such as daily overtime and an occasional weekend
- Must be able to work extended hours while standing
- Continuous walking throughout plant and distribution center
- Lifting up to 40 pounds
