Job Summary
Production Operator Level 5 responsibilities include setup, operation of automated production equipment, preliminary identification of equipment issues, aiding with preventive maintenance and packaging of final product. Must be flexible to learn job assignments throughout production. Responsibilities emphasize maintaining food quality and GMP adherence, partnering with team members for consistent line operation, ensuring machinery runs properly and reporting mechanical issues, inputting data into the ERP system, staying informed on machinery in the work area, keeping the workspace clean, and performing other duties as assigned. Shifts include day 6:00 am–6:00 pm (2-2-3 rotation) and night 6:00 pm–6:00 am; requires lifting 50 pounds, walking/standing for long periods, and working in cooler environments.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent math and comprehension skills
- Ability to speak, understand, read, and write English or Spanish to ensure safety, coaching and training
- Capable of inputting and retrieving required information from a computer
- Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Be able to walk and/or stand a for an entire 12-hour shift based on your schedule
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
- Be able to climb stairs/ladders during the shift as needed
