Job Summary
Oversee department operations by assigning work orders, operating stations, and managing labor shifts to meet production schedules. Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts, validate training execution, and conduct process audits to uphold manufacturing standards. Provide initial assessments for customer and non-conformance reports, escalate material or technical shortages, and deliver shift-based performance summaries. Supervise associates in the absence of the department supervisor while maintaining awareness of safety and employee behavior.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work accurately in a fast paced environment to meet quality and quantity quotas
- Able to quality check finished product and send unsatisfactory items to rework
- Proven experience with safe production practices
- Stable work history
- Basic math required for computing quantities and simple addition and subtraction for counting parts
- Requires excellent manual dexterity, ability to work with small components and hand tools, and a keen eye for detail and quality
- Must be able to read and follow detailed manufacturing instructions
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Minimum two years of leadership experience
- Previous experience in manufacturing environment

- Technical Certificate and/or LEAP or CTE Program Completion Preferred
