Production Operator - Lattice 2nd Shift

Job Summary

Execute manufacturing processes for silicon and germanium components by operating production equipment, loading, and unloading materials while monitoring operations. Perform in-process inspections, complete batch records and production logs, and maintain 5S standards on the floor. Identify and report nonconformances, process deviations, or equipment issues to supervision. Adhere to safety, environmental, and cleanroom protocols, including proper use of PPE, and comply with ISO-compliant documentation practices. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on process efficiency. Work the 2nd shift from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm Monday through Friday with a 3% shift differential.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing, production, machine shop, or cleanroom environment
  • Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, safety procedures, and quality control
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to safely lift 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to wear required PPE
  • Ability to safely handle delicate, brittle, and sharp materials using approved techniques
  • Ability to work assigned shifts, including overtime as required
  • U.S. citizen or national
  • U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder)
  • Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157
  • Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158
  • Eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State

Desired Qualifications

  • Technical or vocational training in manufacturing, materials science, or semiconductor processing
  • Experience with semiconductor, silicon or germanium processing
  • Experience using CNC and/or manual machining equipment, or Optical curve generators
  • Experience using basic measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management systems
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Commitment to safety and quality
  • Problem-solving mindset and mechanical aptitude
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively in a team environment
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to process changes
