Production Operator II - Swing Shift

Job Summary
Operate multiple basic production machines and complex technical equipment to manufacture technical ceramics and metals per work order specifications. Inspect parts for quality compliance, make necessary machine adjustments, and transfer finished goods to the next process via computer software. Load, unload, and stack product while transporting materials using hand-trucks, forklifts, cranes, or hoists. Maintain strict work area cleanliness and train incoming operators on required processes and procedures. Shift schedule is Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM EST, with a day shift training period of 4 to 6 weeks.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of six (6) months manufacturing experience
- Understand and act on verbal and/or written instructions
- Read/interpret standard and metric measurements
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division)
- Knowledge of handheld measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, drop gauges, etc.
- Assess product quality deficiencies to determine disposition; reporting to appropriate person
- Must exhibit attention to detail as well as excellent listening skills
- Must be able to work with a diverse variety of people from different cultures and backgrounds
- Must be available for Monday - Friday, 2:00pm - 10:00pm EST
