Production Operator II (NIGHTS)

Operates and maintains a production line, starting/stopping equipment (palletizers, carton makers, carton sealers, drop packers, injection, etc.), and performing minor adjustments as directed. Completes and updates hourly inspection sheets and quality reports; recognizes unsafe conditions and follows plant safety rules; maintains housekeeping; ensures adequate raw materials and supplies for continuous operations; troubleshoots minor equipment issues in collaboration with maintenance; uses Oracle/MES or current order management systems; understands line flow and manufacturing processes to maximize throughput; communicates issues clearly and promptly up the chain; works in multiple areas with minimal supervision and may perform relief duties; participates in a 12-hour rotating shift (2-2-3).
