Job Summary
Production Operator II on a first shift (Sun-Tue 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Wed 6:00 AM - 12:00 PM) responsible for day-to-day production floor operations including machine operation, packaging, material handling, and shipping as needed. Performs packaging and batch making, production preparation, and assists in monitoring operations and material availability. Interfaces with PLC/PC applications to operate the line, maintains batch records and logs, adheres to GMPs and SOPs, conducts basic maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment, and may perform Material Handler duties. Requires forklift experience and ability to lift up to 75 lbs, with emphasis on safety, documentation accuracy, and compliance with company policies. May support Production Operator I and participate in various projects as assigned; no formal supervision. Equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1–2 years of related production experience
- Experience in operation of forklift and other material handling equipment
- Understand Current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Computer skills and data entry experience
