Job Summary
Operate production machines and/or complex equipment to manufacture parts per work orders in an advanced ceramics/metals environment. Inspect parts to ensure they meet customer/quality specifications, transfer parts between processes via computer systems, and load/unload/transport product using hand-truck, forklift, crane, or hoist. Maintain clean work areas, train incoming operators, and consistently wear required PPE. Read and interpret standard and metric measurements, perform basic math, and use handheld measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, drop gauges). Demonstrate attention to detail and collaborate with a diverse team to meet departmental goals. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not necessary
- six (6) months manufacturing experience
- Read/interpret standard and metric measurements
- Knowledge of micrometers, calipers, drop gauges, etc.
- Basic math skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to operate and adjust machines
- Ability to load/unload and transport product
- Wears PPE at all times
