Job Summary
Operate production equipment to manufacture product per standard work, adhering to Standard Work Instructions, Good Manufacturing Practices, and current Good Documentation Practices. Complete all documentation and communicate potential production issues to the manager in a timely manner. Follow safety and quality compliance practices including OSHA, cGMP, ISO 9001 & ISO 14000 requirements. Set up, start-up, and shutdown assigned manufacturing processes while lifting equipment up to 50lbs. Work the 2nd shift from 2pm to 12:30AM on-site in Putnam, CT. Requires 2+ years of manufacturing experience and ability to travel.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
- 2+ years manufacturing experience
- Ability to go up and down stairs to operate equipment
- Basic math and computer skills
- Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50lbs
- Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements
- Ability to adhere to Standard Work Instructions
- Ability to follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Ability to follow current Good Documentation Practices
- Ability to follow all practices and procedures regarding safety and quality compliance
- Knowledge of OSHA requirements
- Knowledge of cGMP requirements
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 requirements
- Knowledge of ISO 14000 requirements
- Ability to operate production equipment to manufacture product per standard work
- Ability to follow a weekly schedule
- Ability to communicate potential production issues to manager in a timely manner
- Ability to complete all documentation in a timely manner
- Ability to follow all practices and procedures regarding safety and quality compliance
