Production Operator I - Oven Helper

Production Operator I at Flowers Foods will operate automated production equipment in a team-oriented bakery environment, perform primary diagnosis of machinery failures, assist in preventative maintenance and sanitation, and help maintain a safe, compliant work environment. Responsibilities include setting up equipment, maintaining continuous material flow, ensuring product quality, making adjustments to achieve proper performance, removing defective product, maintaining clean work areas, and completing required documentation in the system. Requires a High School diploma or equivalency and successful completion of a technical certification course (AIB “Science of Baking” or similar); two or more years of related experience preferred. Salary starts at $20.25 per hour with full benefits; may require physical duties such as lifting up to 50 pounds and climbing as part of daily tasks.
