Job Summary
Operate transferring, bulk loading, and packaging equipment to move, weigh, and bag finished flour products while maintaining strict GMP, HACCP, and sanitation standards. Monitor flour additives, set up packer scales, and conduct continuous visual inspections of sifers and metal detectors to ensure product conformity. Analyze milled flour samples using lab instruments, record sanitation duties, and perform required maintenance on sifters and storage bins. Collaborate with scheduler, quality, and maintenance teams to communicate workflow and resolve equipment issues, ensuring all bags are sealed, palletized, and ready for shipment. Shifts run 7am to 7pm and 7pm to 7am with rotating schedules.
Required Qualifications
- Available to work flexible hours including rotating shifts.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- Strong reading comprehension, writing, math, and communication skills.
- Strong work planning and decision-making skills.
- Analytical skills to recognize and assess problems.
- Interpersonal skills communication and team skills.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines and schedules.
- Communication skills in English (both verbal and written).
- Basic computer skills (for data entry and process control).
- Safety training is required and provided by the company in group settings, as well as individual computer-based training.
