Job Summary
Production Operator I at Essentia performs duties across multiple production areas to support efficient operation per GMP and customer specifications. Responsibilities include dumping/grinding/processing, packaging/finishing, operating forklifts or pallet jacks, maintaining clean and safe work environments, and documenting data in accordance with HACCP, GMPs, SSOPs, and SQF. The role requires ability to follow written/verbal instructions, read gauges, perform basic math, and collaborate with plant personnel to ensure food safety and quality objectives. Swing shift from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm with overtime as needed. Must be at least 18 years old and able to handle physical duties as described.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED typically required
- previous experience in agriculture, production, or manufacturing preferred
