Job Summary
Operates various stamping presses, milling machines, CNC machines, and spot welders while reading blueprints and following Operator Inspection Instructions to manufacture parts. Inspects produced components using calipers, micrometers, and tape measures to document findings, then returns patterns and fixtures to proper locations. Maintains clean work areas, performs daily equipment maintenance checks, and uses software to enter time and job information. Requires high school graduation, average math skills, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from high school
- 18 years of age
- Pass math measurement/blueprint test with 85% or better
- Average math skills
- Mechanical ability
- Ability to understand and follow routine oral and written instructions
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Close vision

- Ability to adjust focus
Desired Qualifications
- Recent mechanical and shop experience
- Some knowledge of the equipment, materials, methods and practices used in the production process
