Job Summary
Conduct assembly work and repack services using hand tools, precision measuring equipment, and machinery. Troubleshoot operations, perform rework, and update production records and test results while maintaining a clean work area. Identify discrepant materials or components and communicate issues to supervisors in writing or verbally. Operate handheld technology and basic computers within standard times and PPE requirements. Perform repetitive duties while standing for long periods, lifting 20-50 lbs daily, and maintaining a safe environment. Read and understand manufacturing instructions, including complex documentation and verbal directives. Work within a limited climate control environment, with a 7:00am to 3:30pm shift and overtime as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience at one company
- High School diploma or equivalent, or evidence of exceptional ability
- Flexible work availability and comfortable with overtime as needed
- Open minded to working in an assigned production department
- Ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions
- Must have strong command of the English language, both written and verbal
- Must have ability to use basic math skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying and basic division)
- Must be reliable, have good initiative, committed, and quality focused
- Ability to perform repetitive duties while standing for long periods of time
- Ability to lift 20-50 lbs on a daily basis
- Ability to maintain a safe working environment
- Ability to cooperate and function in a team based environment
- Must be able to work from complex and detailed manufacturing documentation and/or verbal and written instructions and specialized fixtures/test equipment
- Must be able to troubleshoot and rework
- Must be able to identify discrepant materials/components both in writing and verbally to supervisor
- Must be able to complete tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules and within standard times
- Must be able to develop versatility and competence in all related job tasks and operations
- Must be able to wear all necessary PPE
- Must have ability to use handheld technology and basic computer skills
