Job Summary
Read and verify shop orders, then set up and operate machinery for printing, automated assembly, and fine component work. Consistently evaluate products for quality defects, document data in management systems, and maintain a clean, safe production environment. Acquire materials, follow all EHS procedures including PPE and chemical handling, and immediately escalate issues to management or engineering. Cross-train on equipment within the area while meeting attendance requirements and working overtime as necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read and comprehend English written instructions, including manufacturing work orders, customer specifications, and shop control documents
- Quality centered mindset with strong attention-to-detail, mathematical, and technical aptitude
- Manual dexterity (hand/finger/eye coordination)
- General computer skills and ability to update electronic records, enter data into systems, and send emails
- Ability to sit or stand throughout a shift and independently push, pull, or lift 10-50 pounds
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English to the degree necessary to perform the job
- Consistently meet attendance requirements
- Willingness to work overtime, including weekends as necessary
- Comfortable working within a manufacturing environment that includes machinery, moving parts, and noise
- Ability and willingness to cross-train in other departments, learning to operate other machinery
- Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC
- Being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents
- Recognition of Foreign Person visitors by badge differentiation
- Understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL)
- Understand and follow Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US
- Manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services
