Job Summary
Production Operator for Poultry Vaccine Production at Elanco, responsible for executing aseptic production tasks across egg handling, tissue culture processes (inoculation, harvest, inactivation), and filling operations; maintain strict aseptic techniques and biosecurity, perform sanitation and sterilization of surfaces and glassware via autoclave; complete production records in SOPs and external guidelines; utilize SAP for material staging and monitor equipment performance, escalating non-compliances or technical failures; collaborate with a team, follow safety procedures, and demonstrate attention to detail. Prefer candidates with an Associate’s Degree in science and exposure to laboratory environments, with strong hand–eye coordination and ability to follow complex instructions. Location: Winslow, ME; full-time role.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Successful completion of Post Offer Exam and Work Simulation (where applicable)
Desired Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in a science field (Biology or Microbiology preferred)
- Previous exposure to aseptic techniques or laboratory science environments
- Strong scientific aptitude with excellent fine hand manipulation and eye-hand coordination
- Effective team collaboration skills with the ability to follow complex written and oral instructions
- High attention to detail and experience with electronic inventory systems like SAP
