Job Summary

Operate production machinery including mixers, ovens, filling machines, and packaging equipment while monitoring processes and troubleshooting issues. Conduct regular quality checks on raw materials and finished goods, adhering to SOPs and GMPs to ensure compliance. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the production area, dispose of waste properly, and report safety hazards immediately. Follow production schedules to meet targets, maintain accurate records in the Redzone system, and collaborate with team members for smooth shift handovers. This role requires flexibility for overtime, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with a 12-hour day shift from 6:00am to 6:00pm.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Familiarity with food safety regulations (FSA, USDA) and quality assurance practices (GMPs)
Ability to operate production equipment and machinery safely and effectively
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and procedures accurately
Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy objects as required in the production process
Ability to stand; walking around office, warehouse, and plant
Ability to lift and carrying packages up to 50 pounds
Utilizing fine dexterity
Reaching, kneeling, crawling, and twisting on a daily basis
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility to work overtime and non-standard hours as needed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
