Job Summary
Production Operator rotates through multiple production positions (Soil and Clean) in the Crown Health Care Laundry plant to learn and operate equipment for washing, sorting, ironing, and loading linens for hospitals and medical facilities. Roles include Soil Operations (sorting returned soil, preparing for washing) and Clean Operations (Catcher, Hand Folder, Ironer, Shipping Clerk) with duties involving stacking, folding, counting, securing carts, communicating with maintenance, and meeting quality standards. The role emphasizes teamwork, cross-training across positions, adherence to safety and quality standards, the ability to move between tasks as assigned, and basic computer usage for shipping records and order tracking.
Required Qualifications
- High School Education or GED preferred
- Excellent teamwork skills
- Willingness to rotate between all jobs
- Ability to learn equipment and rotate positions within 2-5 days
