Job Summary
Operate blender and kettle machines while weighing raw materials and staging ingredients for work center operators. Follow GMP, safety, and environmental regulations to maintain product quality and a clean, safe working environment. Perform boxes and bags for palletizing, complete production reports to identify problems, and attend team meetings to communicate policy changes. Adhere to Lean Process Control Board procedures and may be trained to operate a forklift. This second or third shift role at the Totowa, NJ plant requires standing for most of the shift, lifting up to 55 pounds, and wearing GMP-compliant protective gear.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or its equivalent
- Willingness to work second or third shift with occasional weekend shifts
- Understanding of union policies and procedures
Desired Qualifications
- 1+ plus year manufacturing experience, preferably in a batch maker, mixer, or blender role
- Lean Process understanding preferred
