Job Summary
This role involves supporting chemical manufacturing operations related to ammonium chloride, helium, and nitrogen systems, requiring rotation of 12-hour shifts, adherence to strict safety protocols, and active participation in team-based operations. The position is essential for the reliable production of materials used in advanced electronics and involves hands-on troubleshooting of chemical processes.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts (days, nights, weekends, and holidays).
- Must remain clean-shaven to meet respirator safety requirements.
- Ability to wear full-face respirator, SCBA, SAR, and Level A encapsulated suits.
- Must pass medical and fit-for-duty assessments.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and move cylinders weighing up to 200 lbs.
- Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced production environment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills – both verbal and written.
- Team-oriented, self-motivated, and dependable.
- Must display a positive and safety-first attitude.
Desired Qualifications
- Associate degree in Applied Science, Processing Technology, or related technical field.
- 2+ years experience in chemical, hazardous, industrial, or process operations.
- Experience with mechanical or electrical systems.
- Background in nuclear, electronics, mechanical, or industrial training.
- Knowledge of 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and root cause analysis.
- Understanding of analytical processes in chemical production.
- SAP experience and general computer literacy.
- Fork truck operation experience
