Job Summary
Operate molding machines, set cores, and assemble sand molds while inspecting patterns and castings. Coordinate with melt and molding lines to maintain clean workspaces and prepare for production runs. Transport melting materials and supplies, operate furnace charging equipment, and remove slag hoppers. Ensure personal and team safety during all tasks. Requires one year of manufacturing or foundry experience, high school diploma, and ability to lift up to 60 lbs. 1st and 3rd shift roles available with $2,000 sign-on bonus and quarterly incentives. Charter Casting offers medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, and profit sharing.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year prior experience working in manufacturing, foundry, metals, or related field
- High School Diploma
- Ability to push, pull, lift, and move up to 60lbs
- Basic math and problem solving skills
