Job Summary
Conduct manual handling of timber, operate state-of-the-art sawmilling machinery, and manage Mobile Plant Vehicles at the Dalbeattie Sawmill. Work towards set production targets while upholding Health & Safety practices and minimizing wastage. Full training is provided, though a Full Drivers Licence is ideal; experience in manufacturing is advantageous but not required. This role supports BSW Group's supply chain operations, from tree nurseries to sustainable timber product manufacturing.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- An appreciation of quality and Health & Safety
- Willingness to undertake all relevant training required to fulfil the role
- Experience within a manufacturing, or similar production environment
- Full Drivers Licence
Desired Qualifications
- Experience within a manufacturing, or similar production environment, would be advantageous, but not essential
- Ideally, successful candidates will hold a Full Drivers Licence, however this is not essential
