Job Summary
Operate and monitor various production machines for manufacturing and re-manufacturing diesel fuel components. Perform final assembly, part sorting, tear-down, washing, and other tasks according to process control documentation. Record daily production data and complete on-line Statistical Process Control charting to monitor process variation. Conduct basic maintenance, troubleshoot minor issues, and ensure equipment functionality while following safety protocols and maintaining a clean workspace. Support production goals by completing additional tasks as directed by management. Work 8-hour shifts on the 2nd or 3rd shift with voluntary overtime available up to 4 additional hours daily. This role supports the precision manufacturing and re-manufacturing of diesel fuel systems at the Bosch Kentwood facility, primarily serving the rail industry.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Basic math, reading, and computer skills
- Available to work 2nd and 3rd shift hours
- 1+ years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to excellence
- Proficient in reading, writing, and verbal communication in English
- Lift up to 35 lbs., up to 20 times/hour
- Available to work overtime as needed (including Saturdays)
- Indefinite U.S. work authorized individuals only
- Successful completion of a drug screen
- Successful completion of a background check
