Job Summary
Operate production equipment, troubleshoot issues, and adjust settings to meet product and quality specifications while adhering to all safety and housekeeping requirements. Record production data, apply basic maintenance skills to service equipment, and interpret work instructions to verify measurements. Take an active role in plant safety and continuous improvement initiatives as directed by supervision. Maintain regular attendance and adapt to scheduling needs including shiftwork, overtime, and weekend assignments. Required Qualifications
- Able to work in a manufacturing setting in a safe manner and follow all plant safety and housekeeping rules
- Ability to learn to operate and troubleshoot plant equipment
- Ability to interpret verbal and written work instructions
- Ability to apply basic computer skills required for data entry and reporting
- Proficiency at taking measurements as needed to verify product is within specifications
- Possess basic maintenance skills, including familiarity with common hand tools and how to properly use them (Hammer, wrench, screwdrivers, pliers, putty knife, etc.)
- Effective teamwork and communication skills needed with all co-workers
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance
- Adaptable to scheduling requirements including shiftwork, assignment of overtime, working weekends, etc. where applicable
