Job Summary
The Production Operator is responsible for monitoring and ensuring the performance of equipment from the dryer section to the baler, providing support to team members as needed. Key responsibilities include adhering to safety policies, monitoring the process area for safety and quality, collecting fiber samples, inspecting bales for contamination, preparing products for shipment, operating a clamp truck, performing cleanup tasks, and re-working off grade bales. Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and physical endurance for demanding tasks. Experience in manufacturing, maintenance, quality inspection, and proficiency in MS Office are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED
- Current valid driver's license
- Proven ability to perform physical tasks for at least twelve (12) hours a day
- Excellent time management and attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment and self-manage to meet objectives
- Honest, forthright and of the highest integrity
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment involving equipment operation
- Maintenance and troubleshooting
- Inspecting product for quality and tracking data
- Use of HMI – Siemens Control Systems
- Proficiency in MS Office
