Production Operator

Operate and maintain spray drying equipment in a pharmaceutical products manufacturing facility. Responsibilities include understanding raw material blending and finished goods packaging, managing inventory procedures and production batch records, ensuring equipment is in good working order, operating the spray dryer with proper cores and orifices, monitoring spray patterns and making corrections, recording equipment readings and product moisture, tracking issues in finished product, determining special packaging requirements, sampling finished product and testing moisture content/color/consistency, maintaining adequate product for drying, overseeing cleaning of equipment and surroundings, and contributing to annual departmental goals through self and team involvement. Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent with 1–2 years of manufacturing experience (pharmaceutical preferred); must have basic reading, math, and comprehension skills. Position may involve physically demanding duties including lifting and handling heavy objects; exposure to powder and loud manufacturing environment; compliance with OSHA respirator requirements.
