Job Summary
Operate industrial trucks and cranes to move metal and materials throughout the plant. Measure dimensions of metal using steel tape, micrometers, and other devices, then cut samples and set up production equipment. Inspect metal and materials while utilizing computer terminals to record metal flow and data. Work evenings, nights, holidays, and overtime.
Required Qualifications
- Team-oriented
- Ability to operate industrial trucks and cranes
- Ability to measure dimensions of metal in fractions and decimals using steel tape, micrometers, and other measuring devices
- Ability to cut samples
- Ability to set up and operate production equipment
- Ability to inspect metal and materials
- Ability to utilize computer terminals to record metal flow and data
- Availability to work evenings
