Job Summary
Operate, clean, and maintain complex high-speed production equipment while ensuring proper identification, codes, and expiration dates for industry-leading nutrition products. Maintain accurate records, manage material supplies, perform visual quality inspections, and troubleshoot equipment issues to meet FDA, OSHA, and Abbott compliance standards. Work the day shift (6am to 6:30 pm) on a rotating basis at the Altavista, VA manufacturing plant.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Shift Hours: 6am to 6:30 pm, on a rotating basis
- Week One: Mon - On / Tues - On / Weds - Off / Thurs - Off / Fri - On / Sat - On / Sun - On
- Week Two: Mon - Off / Tues - Off / Weds - On / Thurs - On / Fri - Off / Sat - Off / Sun - Off
Desired Qualifications
- 6 months prior manufacturing experience
- Proficiency in basic math
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Some mechanical aptitude
