Job Summary
Production Operator operates and cleans production processing equipment, prepares coat solutions and other formulas in a cGMP environment, and follows SOPs. Responsibilities include weighing/dispensing materials, mixing coating solutions, labeling containers with contents/lot/weight, verifying tasks performed by others, identifying process deviations, transferring product from bulk to final containers, and maintaining campaign/order manufacturing records. Requires following CPI cGMP and safety practices; experience is not required due to on-the-job training. Shift is 3rd shift (11 pm–7 am, Sunday–Thursday) with a 10% shift differential, and training on first shift for 3–4 months. Must be comfortable wearing a respirator and able to read/write/speak English for performance of duties. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Principles (cGMPs) in FDA-regulated environment preferred
- Basic understanding of MSDS contents
- Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, conversions)
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- English literacy (read, write, speak) at performance level
- Ability to operate material handling equipment (pallet jack, drum dollies)
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to seal half-mask respirator properly
