Job Summary
Operate production equipment according to SOPs, work instructions, and safety guidelines. Perform basic equipment setup, changeovers, routine checks, and preventative maintenance tasks. Conduct first-piece and in-process inspections to support product quality. Complete production and quality documentation accurately to maintain traceability and ISO 9001 compliance. Identify, report, and escalate issues that may impact safety, quality, compliance, or delivery. Maintain a clean, organized, and inspection-ready work area using 5S practices. Follow all EHS policies, PPE requirements, gowning protocols, and cleanroom standards. Support troubleshooting, cross-training, and Practical Process Improvement initiatives. First shift (days) in Connecticut.
Required Qualifications
- Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance
- Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards
- Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in manufacturing, operations, production, laboratory, or a related field
- Basic math skills, including formulas, decimals, and fractions
- Ability to follow procedures and work safely in a fast-paced environment
