Job Summary
Production Operator oversees operation and cleaning of processing equipment, prepares coat solutions and formulas in a cGMP environment, and follows SOPs. Responsibilities include weighing and dispensing materials, mixing coatings, labeling and weighing contents, verifying tasks, tracking deviations, transferring solvents, staging materials, and maintaining manufacturing records. Requires following CPI cGMP and safety practices; familiarity with GMP requirements for FDA-regulated products and potential Halal/Kosher considerations. On-the-job training available. 1st shift (7:00am–3:00pm, Mon-Fri) with a $2,000 sign-on bonus. High school diploma or equivalent required; training and experience in CGMPs preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of CGMPs in FDA-regulated environment preferred
- Basic MSDS understanding
- Basic mathematical skills
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Ability to operate material handling equipment
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to wear respirator as needed
