Job Summary

Required Qualifications

• •Minimum High School Diploma, GED or one-year equivalent experience
• •Prior experience working in a manufacturing setting
• •Ability to communicate well in both verbal and written forms
• •Must be able to complete process tags
• •Ability to generate reporting documents and participate in team meetings
• •Self-motivated with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced production environment
• •Good general ability with use of computer touch screens and written documents
• •Basic math skills, ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• •Must possess good dexterity skills
• •Must be able to carry, push, pull or lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally
• •Must be able to stand while operating assembly equipment for extended periods of time
• •Must be able to walk
• •Must be able to use hands to feel or handle objects, tools, or controls
• •Must be able to reach and lift with hands and arms
• •Must be able to talk, see and hear
• •Must be able to engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, and pulling of parts
• •Must be able to work in various temperatures
• •Must be able to work in moderate or occasional presence of unfavorable conditions, i.e., cold, dust, heat, noise, odor, chemicals, etc.
• •Must be able to work well with others and in a team atmosphere
• •Strong attention to detail
• •Must be flexible with work schedules and work overtime as required
• •Must demonstrate a willingness to learn and be an active participant in training
• •Must be able to meet the physical demands of the job
• •Must be able to learn different equipment/operations and able to rotate to all work centers within the area
• •Must be able to pack products in an efficient manner
• •Must be able to consistently meet production schedule plan and attainment goals
• •Must be able to read & interpret work orders along with production schedule
• •Must be able to maintain a constant visual on parts produced and perform visual quality audits per quality plans
• •Must be able to perform basic troubleshooting (such as repair quick thread device, dislodge nails, etc.)
• •Must be able to use hand tools, wrenches, hammer, screwdriver, pliers, utility knife, etc.
• •Must be able to maintain cleanliness of equipment and workstation areas
• •Must be able to determine and report product quality issues to appropriate parties
• •Must be able to work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency
• •Must be able to communicate effectively with supervisors, group leads and business unit managers
• •Must be able to documenting and submitting performance reporting as required
• •Must be able to gain knowledge and keeping up to date on safety and quality regulatory notices
• •Must be able to maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality per company policies and procedures
• •Must be able to follow all company safety guidelines, practices, and procedures
• •Must be able to follow company policies and procedures
• •Must be able to start and shutdown machines and monitor their operations
• •Must be able to restocking materials as required
• •Must be able to perform repetitive work tasks
• •Must be able to assist in emergency situations
• •Must be able to be available for extended shift hours if needed
