Job Summary
Production Operator in Smoke and Grill Ingredient Manufacturing at Kerry’s Manitowoc, WI site. You will run and monitor production equipment, set up equipment, monitor quality, troubleshoot minor issues, support changeovers, and keep the work area clean and organized. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and experience in manufacturing, preferably in food production or quality environments. Must be physically able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work around the smell of smoke. Strong teamwork, reliability, and the ability to collaborate with others are essential. Mechanical aptitude and analytical skills to solve problems are desirable, with MS Excel and SAP familiarity preferred. Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, or food safety systems is helpful.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required (over 18 years of age)
- Experience in manufacturing, food production, or quality environments
- Physical agility and ability to stand throughout shift, walk, climb, twist and lift (up to 50 lbs)
- Ability to work with smell of smoke in environment
- Reliable attendance is important for team operations
- Must be self-motivated and conscientious
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with a team
- Mechanical aptitude and analytical skills to solve mechanical problems
- Use of MS products, Excel and SAP software preferred
- Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, or food safety systems helpful
