Job Summary
Provide day-to-day technical leadership for composite technicians, coordinating priorities and supporting safe, efficient execution to achieve area goals. Mentor, train, and coach staff to develop skills, uphold quality, and maintain morale while acting as the safety champion to eliminate hazards and drive PPE compliance. Partner with Engineering to translate build requirements into clear workstreams, monitor progress, and escalate risks to ensure delivery against timelines. Oversee manufacturing of composite structures including trimming, machining, drilling, vacuum bagging, and curing, ensuring adequate training and skillsets for daily tasks. This full-time, on-site role at Arc's Los Angeles headquarters reports to the Area Supervisor within a lean, high-trust team focused on electrifying the marine industry.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years experience leading or mentoring technicians in a production environment
- 3+ years of experience working in a production and manufacturing environment
- Extensive hands-on experience in composites manufacturing
- Proficiency using mechanical and electric hand tools, along with test equipment
- Proven ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and product data sheets
- Physically capable of standing 6–10 hours per day and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Adaptable and able to work extended hours when production demands require
- Must be a great communicator to all types of stakeholders
Desired Qualifications
- High school degree or GED certification
