Job Summary
Accumulate pre-approved ingredients from production bins and clearly document materials used on each mix with total shift calculations. Accurately record lot codes, batch tickets, and waste logs while ensuring all materials are stored properly per formula and build sheets. Monitor material temperatures, maintain sanitary conditions throughout the shift, and ensure mixing bowls and carts are free from excess material. Report unsanitary equipment conditions, defective items, and quality problems to the Supervisor, Production Manager, or Quality technician. Follow approved formulas unless authorized by R&D, comply with food allergen programs, and adhere to safety procedures for operating blending equipment. This role supports the Operations team at Dessert Holdings, a leading premium dessert company crafting artisanal products at scale across multiple brands.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in a Food Manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to communicate in English and write correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to leads, supervisors and R&D
- Flexibility to work various hours and shifts
- MATHEMATICAL SKILLS - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent
- Ability to draw and interpret bar graphs
Desired Qualifications

- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Understanding of the company's food allergen program
- Familiarity with SQF, HACCP, and GMP practices
