Job Summary
Accumulate pre-approved ingredients from production bins and clearly document materials used on each mix with total shift calculations. Accurately record lot codes, batch tickets, and waste logs while ensuring all utensils are returned daily and stored properly to prevent contamination. Monitor material temperatures, maintain sanitary conditions throughout the shift, and report unsanitary equipment or quality issues immediately. Follow approved formulas strictly, escalate overuse of materials, and ensure all products meet Steven Charles quality standards. Perform other duties as assigned while complying with food safety practices including SQF, HACCP, and GMP.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in a Food Manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to communicate in English and write correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to leads, supervisors and R&D
- Flexibility to work various hours and shifts
- MATHEMATICAL SKILLS - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent
- Ability to draw and interpret bar graphs
