Job Summary
Production Mission Assurance Engineer (Level 3 or 4) at Northrop Grumman is responsible for implementing Quality Assurance Programs for flight hardware programs across design, manufacturing, integration and test, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, interfacing with suppliers and internal teams, overseeing mission assurance activities, performing root cause analyses and corrective actions, and supporting risk management and program reviews. The role requires experience in AS9100 QMS/AS9102 FAIRs, RCA tools, DFMEA/PFMEA, and the ability to obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance; travel up to 10% is expected and on-site work at Ridgecrest, CA is required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in STEM field or an Engineering discipline; Level 3 requires 5+ years experience in quality/mission assurance or a Master's with 3+ years (or 9+ years in lieu of degree); Level 4 requires 8+ years experience or a Master's with 6+ years (or 12+ years in lieu of degree); ability to read engineering documentation, drawings and parts lists; knowledge of AS9100 QMS and AS9102 FAIRs; ability to stand for extended periods and lift 35 lbs
