Job Summary
Troubleshoot, repair, and replace defective machine components including gears, solenoids, and valves to maintain safety and quality targets. Monitor operations, reduce scrap rates, and initiate corrective actions for out-of-control conditions while optimizing processes to minimize downtime. Perform line changeovers, control parts flow, and instruct associates on proper machine use and care. Maintain organized workspaces, adhere to safety policies, and actively seek cross-training opportunities to improve overall equipment effectiveness.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum two years of experience in manufacturing assembly or machining
- Basic knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, print-reading and mechanics
- Mechanical proficiency
- Leadership ability
- Teamwork
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to function in a noisy and fast-paced environment
- Self-initiative
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel)
- Willingness to work on alternate shifts
- Ability to adapt to changes
- At least 18 years of age
- Indefinite U.S. work authorization
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in roles such as Maintenance Technician, Manufacturing Technician, Setup Technician, Equipment Technician, or similar positions
