Job Summary
Put away finished product correctly and keep presses stocked with totes and skids. Perform all Housekeeping duties in conformance to the Housekeeping Verification, ensuring the front wall, front aisle, and back aisle remain clear. Remove all stock, packaging, and assembly equipment from the press during mold changes and follow safety standards for operations. Operate a forklift truck or pallet jack regularly while managing multiple tasks in an indoor manufacturing environment. Work the 1st shift with occasional exposure to extreme heat and vibration.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one to three months related experience and/or training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors and other employees of the organization
- Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s
- Ability to recognize numbers and not transpose digits
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
- Ability to manage multiple tasks at one time
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 35 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include ability to adjust focus, demonstrate depth perception and have good hand –eye coordination
- Must not wear any loose-fitting clothing that may get in the way of the moving machinery
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
