Production Material Handler

Job Summary
Manage material requests via email, inventory systems, and Kanban cards to pick bulk raw and semi-finished goods from storage and deliver them to production staging areas. Lead batch kitting activities, transfer materials to production lines, and prepare items for return to storage with accurate labeling. Monitor Kanban stock levels, perform cycle counts, and execute inventory transactions within management systems while adhering to FIFO or FEFO protocols. Operate equipment such as stand-up reach trucks, order pickers, and pallet jacks to move materials securely. Replenish production spaces daily, participate in department meetings, and support training programs while following Standard Operating Procedures. Perform preventive maintenance on facility equipment and exercise good judgment regarding safety and operational policies in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 6 years of Warehouse, Logistics, or equivalent experience
- Good experience in using inventory or warehouse management system
- Reasonable computer software skills including, MS Office
- Ability to complete assigned tasks within working hours and meet deadlines
- Ability to communicate potential issues to the manager and help develop potential solutions and improvements
- Strong attention to detail, quality conscious, and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to maintain accurate paperwork and execute good documentation practices
- Ability to be a good team member and work well with diverse groups & personalities
- Safety conscious and compliant with all health and safety regulations
- Have a valid Driver's License and the ability to operate company vehicles, including Box Truck
- Must be able to lift and/or move items over 50 pounds
- Must be able to talk and hear, both in-person and over the phone
Desired Qualifications
- SAP experience is preferred
